At the Regional CTE Conference held at Columbia University on Election Day, Commission vice chairman Jack Powers gave a talk on the best practices for CTE teachers and principals to develop partnerships with industry. He talked about what partnerships are good for, how to recruit industry practitioners, and how to manage the interactions.
Jack's text slides are available here in PowerPoint format and as as a PDF. If there's interest from teachers to this post, he'll develop the full talk as a webinar.
