This year's Fall Graphics Teachers Technology Conference is set for November 7, 2006, Election Day, at the Samsung Experience in the Time Warner Building on Columbus Circle. We're working on the program, but as of this writing it includes a representative of TekServ, the "old reliable Macintosh shop" discussing Basic Macintosh Tips and Tricks, a session on video editing basics, and a teacher-requested talk on using Powerpoint to teach digital graphics.
The Samsung Experience is part showroom, part learning center for Samsung digital media products. We'll see high definition television sets, portable media devices, mobile phones, home networking and interactive graphics.
