The Graphics Teachers Technology Conference at Parsons this week drew a great crowd. Over 115 teachers, graphics industry professionals, post-secondary educators and journalists were on hand for the day's content and networking opportunities. (See the GTTC Agenda on-line.) We got a chance to discuss the global technology trends; get in-depth on desktop publishing, desktop video and graphic design; hear from employers and colleges about career paths; and vent a bit about the state of career and technical education education in our region.
I've started this web log to carry the discussions forward, and I'll be posting notes about the conference and about all the follow-up that it's sparked. Help me out by spreading this link around and posting comments to what you see here. If you've got a lot to say, sign on as a GTBlogger and start your own threads on the topics you think are important.
As somebody said last Tuesday, nothing gets going until people start talking. Here's a way for all of us to do that on-line.
